So you’re ready to book your family and/or senior portraits, but have a few questions you’d like to ask?

Here’s everything you need to know in response to your most FAQs…

When should I book my session?

We generally take bookings for family and senior portraits 2-3 months in advance, but occasionally have last minute spots available, so please reach out!

What time of day will the session take place?

All family and senior sessions are in the late afternoon/evening, generally 2 hours before the sun sets.

Can you help us figure out a location?

Of course! We know of several amazing spots in Rochester Hills, Oakland Township, Birmingham, Bloomfield, Troy, downtown – all throughout Metro Detroit and beyond, and we’re more than happy to make suggestions.

Can you help us with what to wear?

We would love to! We always give wardrobe recommendations as to what photographs best. Full styling is also available. Clients often lay out their outfits and send over a photo, or even send a text while out shopping. We’re always glad to give feedback.

When will our images be ready?

Average turn around time for your image gallery is 3 weeks. During busy seasons, however, it can run closer to 4 weeks. Galleries will remain open for 14 days for you to select your images and prints. There’s more information on the entire process available here.

Do we have to print through you?

The short answer is no. The long answer is because we are a full-service photographer, we specialize in providing a finished product. We firmly believe you should not need electricity to view your photos!

Selling digital files alone seems a disservice to our clients when we have exclusive access to pro-only labs with quality far exceeding that available on the consumer market. Most people never get around to printing digital images. Life gets in the way, and that’s understandable. It’s why an image credit is included with your session fee, and each print comes with the digital image ready for sharing and posting on social media.

Our photographic prints are fingerprint and scratch-resistant, UV-protected to resist fading, and guaranteed to last 100 years or more in typical home display. The quality is simply unmatched. We believe your life should be documented – and these photographs will become a part of your personal archive. Of course, you can go the digital route and print on your own. Please know though that the color, clarity, sharpness, and durability (or lack thereof) you receive with a consumer lab is not something we have any control over. Our prints, albums, and canvas are exceptional, and you’ll never regret investing in tangible copies of your memories!
